About the role

The U.S. Navy is seeking a qualified Operational Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to Sailors, Marines, and operational units. This full‑time, in‑person position supports mission readiness both ashore and at sea.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary care, treat acute illnesses and injuries, and perform physical examinations.
• Manage medical readiness programs and coordinate follow‑up care for operational personnel.
• Advise command leadership on health status and readiness of assigned forces.
• Support medical operations during deployments, training exercises, and routine missions.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified).
• Unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• U.S. citizenship and age between 21 and 57 per federal regulations.
• High moral character and willingness to serve as an active‑duty Medical Corps Officer.
