Opérateur de production – Quart de nuit

About the role

Under the direction of the Production Manager, the operator will take part in the manufacturing of electrical cables according to the plant’s production methods. The position is primarily night‑shift work (midnight to 8:00 am) or a 12‑hour night shift on a non‑rotating 4/3 schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery to start and run production cycles.
• Control and adjust machine parameters such as speed and raw‑material feed.
• Monitor raw‑material supply to ensure continuous production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the shift.
• Inspect finished product for errors or defects.
• Maintain production logs and activity records.
• Perform daily equipment checks to verify functionality.
• Collect and label product samples for quality‑control inspections.
• Assist with machine set‑up when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in industrial production.
• Previous experience operating machinery or in a similar role (preferred).
• Ability to work safely and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Motivated, engaged and able to take responsibility for tasks.
• Familiarity with a production environment.
