About the role

Cargill is seeking a General Production Operator to join its protein and salt business in Fresno, CA. The role involves handling frozen meat blocks, operating equipment, and ensuring product quality and safety in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lift 60‑lb frozen meat blocks to the mill.
• Fill hoppers with correct quantities and monitor the process.
• Inspect machines at regular intervals.
• Pack finished products into boxes and bags.
• Label, weigh, and verify correct materials.
• Stack boxes ranging from 10‑40 lb.
• Maintain food safety and product quality standards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties.
• Keep the work area safe and organized.

Required profile

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in meat production, packaging, or grinding is preferred.
• Previous experience at Cargill is a plus.
