Oncology APP Team Manager (Full Time)

About the role

The APP Team Manager – Oncology provides clinical leadership and direct patient care for an oncology panel. Reporting to departmental leadership, the manager oversees an interdisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, safe, and coordinated care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and manage the clinical practice and safety of an interdisciplinary oncology team.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, advanced practice providers, population managers, and care managers.
• Participate in hiring, supervision, and performance evaluation of team members.
• Identify and initiate interdisciplinary collaborations to meet team and patient goals.
• Advance practice through research, publications, and professional meetings.
• Represent the department on hospital, system‑level committees and task forces.
• Analyze and present team‑based care outcomes to senior leaders and staff.

Required profile

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with oncology experience.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, physician assistants, and other health professionals.
• Strong commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.
