About the role
The On‑Premise Fine Wine Sales Representative drives sales, distribution, and brand visibility for a premium wine portfolio across restaurants, hotels, bars and other on‑premise accounts in Nevada. The role focuses on building strong relationships with key decision‑makers, educating staff on fine‑wine selections, and executing strategies that increase market share.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned accounts on a regular route, conduct surveys, and ensure compliance with national account standards.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, introduce new products, and manage wine‑list placements and promotions.
- Maintain product inventory levels, restock shelves where permitted, and track account receivables.
- Provide staff training on priority brands and handle customer issues, escalating when necessary.
- Achieve sales, distribution, and activity targets set by management.
- Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager on opening orders for new accounts and participate in sales blitzes.
Required profile
- Proven experience in on‑premise sales, preferably within the beverage or hospitality sector.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with decision‑makers.
- Ability to analyze account data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
