On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part‑time on‑call position supporting adult and geriatric clients across Wake, Durham, and Johnston counties. The role involves phone triage and home visits during a rotating two‑week on‑call schedule each month.

Key responsibilities

• Provide home visits following designated care plans, administering medication, wound care, and other treatments.
• Monitor client conditions, report changes to clinical managers, and document all observations using a tablet‑based EMR system.
• Execute and document physicians’ orders, perform client assessments, and coordinate case management activities.

Required profile

• Current North Carolina RN license with at least one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to assigned cases.
• Strong interpersonal and computer skills; prior home‑care experience preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and tablet documentation.
• Experience with Home Health/OASIS documentation.
