On-Call Registered Nurse for Home Health Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an on‑call Registered Nurse to provide after‑hour phone triage and home health visits for clients across Baltimore County and Baltimore City. The role requires availability Monday‑Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:30 am and focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in the home setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits in assigned geographic territories, following each patient’s care plan.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, treatments, and procedures as ordered.
• Monitor client conditions, report changes to Clinical or Client Services Managers, and document all observations on a tablet.
• Execute and document physicians’ orders, complete client assessments, and coordinate case management activities.

Required profile

• Current Maryland RN license with at least one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to assigned cases.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Solid computer skills for documentation on a touch‑pad tablet.
