On Call Home Health Aide / CNA

About the role

AdvisaCare is hiring Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants on a PRN basis to provide private duty in-home care for its clients in the Warren area. The role offers flexible scheduling and weekly paychecks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff or supervisor
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation and tidying up
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols

Required profile

• High school graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a team while also working responsibly and independently
• Good communication skills and ability to travel within the service area
• CPR certified
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear background check
