About the role

The Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) Director leads the movement to advance and protect Christian education across Ohio, serving as a primary voice for schools and policymakers.

Key responsibilities

• Champion Christian education and advocate for universal access to Christian schools in Ohio.
• Lead and grow network membership among evangelical and Catholic schools.
• Develop and expand membership services to create a compelling value proposition.
• Drive education policy development and advocacy to support member schools.
• Build relationships with state lawmakers, executive officials, and influential education organizations.
• Oversee OCEN’s school‑planting initiative to help churches open new Christian schools.
• Create a Leadership Council of member‑school administrators for guidance.
• Operate within the cooperative agreement with the Christian Education Network.
• Expand OCEN’s scholarship granting program.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in Christian education.
• Mature Christian actively attending a local church and aligned with CCV’s Statement of Faith.
• Commitment to CCV’s mission and core issues.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
