Offshore Supply Specialist

About the role

Moog is seeking an Offshore Supply Specialist to support its Space and Defense group. Reporting to the Offshore Value Stream Manager, the position is onsite in Blacksburg, VA and focuses on coordinating supply activities with international contract manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Process requisitions for international contract manufacturers, including cost analysis, approvals and purchase order generation.
• Identify, prioritize and communicate production requirements at overseas sites to support the Blacksburg facility.
• Partner with international sites and the Purchasing department to anticipate inventory shortages and prevent production gaps.
• Act as the communication hub between Blacksburg and international sites, liaising with Sales, Program Management, Production and Supply Chain.
• Assist in resolving problem invoices and enforce purchasing policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide weekly and monthly production update reports to management.
• Cross‑train in other areas as needed and perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of coordinating experience, or an associate’s degree with 5 years of coordinating experience.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical problem‑solving ability, and professional composure in challenging situations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
