Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

Moog’s Space and Defense Group is looking for a detail‑oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support the Materials Manager and oversee both central in‑house and offshore inventory. The role involves assembling data, maintaining inventory levels, and developing control procedures within a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and compute data from various files and sources for statistical information.
• Ensure adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and coordinate weekly reconciliation of offshore cycle counts.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
• Communicate inventory issues and corrective actions with Production Control, Materials Manager, and offshore vendors.

Required profile

• Associate degree with at least three years of clerical experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong ability to use Excel formulas for data analysis.
