Offshore Operator – Solids Control & Vacuum Units

About the role

We are looking for an Offshore Operator to join our team operating and maintaining solids control and vacuum unit equipment on offshore rigs. The role involves rig‑up and rig‑down activities, troubleshooting, minor repairs and ensuring safe and efficient operation in a demanding offshore environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rig‑up and rig‑down of solids control and vacuum unit equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting and minor mechanical or electrical repairs.
• Carry out solids control equipment analysis and follow proper sampling procedures.
• Complete daily reports and maintain rig etiquette.
• Train fellow crew members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Travel to offshore locations as required and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

Required profile

• Experience in solids control or similar mechanical field.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check, physical, pulmonary and substance‑abuse tests.
• Willingness to complete Water Survival Training and annual refresher courses.
• Ability to work safely in offshore environments and follow safety protocols.

Required skills

• Solids control equipment operation (rig‑up, rig‑down, analysis).
• Electrical equipment operation and minor repairs.
• Vacuum unit operation.
• Heavy equipment operation (track hoe/backhoe).
• Water Survival Training certification.
