OCM Communications Specialist – Business Modernization

About the role

The OCM Communications Specialist will lead the planning, development, and delivery of clear, timely, and impactful communications supporting Moog’s ERP/SAP modernization. Working onsite in Buffalo, NY, you will help drive awareness, understanding, and adoption across a multi‑year, phased S/4HANA implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the SAP change communications strategy aligned with program milestones and deployment waves.
• Translate SAP program objectives, progress, and impacts into clear, actionable messaging for diverse audiences.
• Create communication plans that define key messages, timing, channels, and target audiences.
• Produce high‑quality materials such as emails, presentations, intranet content, FAQs, newsletters, and change updates.
• Tailor messaging for executives, people managers, end users, and support teams while reinforcing leadership alignment.
• Partner with business leaders, change leads, and program leadership to ensure communications reflect priorities and decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Communications to maintain consistency with enterprise messaging standards.
• Participate as an embedded member of the SAP OCM and program team in planning forums, milestone reviews, and readiness discussions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in change communications for large‑scale ERP or SAP implementations.
• Strong ability to simplify complex technical information for varied stakeholder groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and credibility.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills working with cross‑functional teams including IT, program management, and corporate communications.
