Occupational Therapist – Children (Birth‑to‑5) – Warren

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join the interdisciplinary team at the UAMS Kids First clinic in Warren. The position is a contracted role focused on delivering evidence‑based therapy to children from birth to five years old with motor delays or disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for the birth‑to‑5 population.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech‑language pathologists and other specialists to develop coordinated care plans.
• Implement best‑practice therapeutic techniques aimed at improving motor function and daily living skills.
• Document treatment outcomes and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with UAMS policies.

Required profile

• Current Arkansas license to practice occupational therapy.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to adhere to UAMS vaccination policy or possess an approved exemption.

Required skills

• Occupational therapy assessment and intervention for pediatric motor disorders.
• Knowledge of evidence‑based therapeutic techniques for young children.
