Occupational Therapist Assistant – Contingent Worker

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a contingent Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the interdisciplinary team at the Kids First clinic. This position focuses on providing evidence‑based therapy to children from birth to five years old with fine motor delays or disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver best‑practice occupational therapy techniques to the pediatric population.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
