Occupational Medicine Physician Reviewer – Remote (Washington)

About the role

Dane Street is looking for experienced Occupational Medicine physicians licensed in Washington to join its panel of independent reviewers. Working fully remotely as a 1099 contractor, you will apply your clinical expertise to evaluate medical records and provide objective, evidence‑based opinions on work‑related injuries, illnesses, and disability matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and supporting documentation for occupational health cases.
• Prepare concise clinical summaries and written reports that answer client‑specific questions.
• Assess medical necessity, causation, work‑relatedness, impairment, and return‑to‑work recommendations.
• Apply current clinical guidelines and standards of care to each review.
• Participate in peer‑to‑peer discussions when required.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Current, unrestricted Washington medical license.
• Board certification in Occupational Medicine preferred.
• Minimum five years of post‑residency clinical experience in Occupational Medicine.
• Active clinical practice or recent relevant experience.
• Ability to attend orientation and training sessions.
