NX CAM Applications Engineer

About the role

Moog is seeking an NX CAM Applications Engineer to support its global manufacturing operations. Based in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY, the role focuses on developing, maintaining and delivering NX post‑processors and providing technical expertise to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Field user requests for post‑processor development and deliver functional software within project timelines.
• Develop and maintain NX post‑processors using Post Builder/Post Configurator.
• Contribute to enterprise‑wide post‑processor roadmaps, reporting, demand management and continuous improvement.
• Support IT processes for requisition, delivery and standardisation of post‑processors, including code‑structure guidelines.
• Design and deliver training for engineering resources involved in post‑processor development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least four years of progressive technical experience with NX CAM.
• Experience with NX CAD and/or Siemens Teamcenter is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to serve internal customers across multiple business units.

Required skills

• NX CAM configuration and automation (journaling).
• Post Builder and Post Configurator for NX.
• NX CAD proficiency.
• Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of various machine controls and machine types.
