Nursing Programs Clinical and Simulation Coordinator

About the role

The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College is seeking a Nursing Programs Clinical and Simulation Coordinator to lead the clinical and simulation components of its nursing curriculum. This position supports the statewide BRIDGE-AR initiative aimed at reducing healthcare workforce shortages across Arkansas.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage clinical placement schedules for nursing students.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of simulation labs, ensuring equipment readiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate simulation scenarios into coursework.
• Coordinate with external healthcare partners to secure clinical sites and preceptorship opportunities.
• Track student performance data and generate reports for program accreditation.
• Provide training and support to faculty and students on simulation technology and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related health field; RN licensure preferred.
• Experience in clinical education, simulation coordination, or healthcare training environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and clinical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of clinical simulation equipment and software.
• Understanding of nursing curriculum standards and accreditation requirements.
