About the role

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator to lead the Skilled Unit at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta. This full‑time, day‑shift position oversees the delivery of health services to a diverse patient population in Decatur, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate health service delivery.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and program evaluations.
• Lead hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions for healthcare staff.
• Maintain awareness of medical advances, regulatory changes, and financing options.
• Manage human‑resources functions and administrative activities.
• Oversee budgeting, community assessments, and strategic planning.
• Ensure services are adequate, appropriate, and accessible to the community.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
• Proven experience in healthcare administration or service direction.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare facility operations and regulatory environment.
• Ability to develop and implement service plans and policies.
• Leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams.
