About the role
Join the State of Georgia’s education team as a Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor. You will deliver hands‑on nursing education in a clinical and lab setting, helping students develop practical skills while staying current with industry trends.
Key responsibilities
- Teach nursing courses in clinical and skills‑lab environments.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of nursing practices and emerging trends.
- Prepare and manage all required documentation, reports, and safety protocols for clinical activities.
- Collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to monitor and discuss student progress.
- Participate in committees, projects, and occasional day, evening, or weekend clinical sessions.
Required profile
- Associate Degree in Registered Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid Georgia RN license and current BLS (CPR) certification.
- Minimum three years of nursing experience within the past seven years.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, recent post‑secondary teaching experience.
Required skills
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Effective communication and ability to work with a diverse student body.
- Clinical instruction and safety management.
