Nurse Specialist – Research (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Nurse Specialist, Research ensures the integrity and quality of clinical research studies, maintaining compliance with practice guidelines, federal and sponsor regulations, and institutional policies. This role also plays a key part in participant recruitment and achieving research objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures integrity and quality of clinical research studies, complying with guidelines, federal and sponsor regulations, and institutional policies.
• Assesses, troubleshoots, and reports data‑collection problems to managing staff.
• Conducts initiation visits, registers patients, and performs study data collection and entry from charts, medical records and communications.
• Educates staff and participants on protocols, treatments, possible side effects and complications.
• Prepares and processes new research proposals, amendments, monitors applications and adverse events, and assists with study closeout, data lock and archiving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Valid Florida RN license; certification in relevant specialty.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in clinical research nursing.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize under pressure and handle confidential information.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights and weekends as needed.
