Nurse Practitioner – Podiatric Care (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide podiatric‑focused care in long‑term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing, and senior living facilities. You will work with a growing team dedicated to clinical excellence, patient mobility, and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower‑limb conditions for residents in long‑term and senior‑care settings.
• Deliver diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education.
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs and document visits in NextGen EMR using a company‑issued iPad.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and completion of an accredited NP program.
• Active RN license and NP certification (ANCC or AANP).
• 2–5 years of podiatry experience preferred; long‑term care experience a plus.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NextGen EMR.
• Use of iPad for clinical documentation.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification (preferred).
