Nurse Practitioner – Behavioral Health (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join Paugus Bay Behavioral Health in Laconia. This hybrid position offers two on‑site days per week and a flexible schedule of at least 10 hours, focused on supporting individuals recovering from substance use and co‑occurring mental health disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management for IOP, outpatient and future PHP clients.
• Review, sign, and manage laboratory orders, including urine drug screens.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate care with therapists, nursing staff, primary care providers and the broader treatment team.
• Schedule and follow up on patient appointments to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Compassionate, dedicated provider with a strong commitment to behavioral health and addiction treatment.
• Willingness to work a consistent schedule of two 5‑hour shifts per week, Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5 pm.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
