Nurse Educator & Quality Assurance Specialist (Contractor)

About the role

This contract position supports a fast‑growing digital health network by delivering education and ensuring quality across telehealth services. The Nurse Educator & Quality Assurance Specialist will work with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants to raise clinical standards and improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training programs for the multidisciplinary provider network.
• Create and maintain SOPs, presentations, workflow guides, and other educational resources aligned with current clinical and regulatory standards.
• Conduct retrospective chart reviews and quality audits of telehealth consults, documentation, and provider notes.
• Identify documentation gaps, workflow inefficiencies, and quality concerns; recommend corrective actions or targeted education.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, compliance, and leadership to support continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance on clinical workflows, documentation practices, and telehealth best practices.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted U.S. RN or Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) license.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in education, quality assurance, supervisory, or training roles.
• Experience in telehealth, outpatient, or virtual healthcare environments preferred.
