Nurse Aides for Home Care

About the role

Join BAYADA as a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care, household support, and companionship to adults living at home in the Charlotte, Monroe, Concord, and Kannapolis areas.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care from a registered nurse to assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and support range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Help clients with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Offer medication reminders and other companion care services.

Required profile

• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Commitment to present, reliable, and quality patient care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Previous home health or patient care experience is welcomed but not required; training will be provided.
