NPI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced NPI Engineer to lead new product introduction for autonomous‑vehicle hardware. You will guide hardware systems from prototype through pilot builds to full production, ensuring robust processes and launch readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities for vehicle hardware, coordinating prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT and initial production builds.
• Align cross‑functional teams—including design engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and suppliers—to achieve industrialization milestones.
• Develop build plans, manufacturing schedules, documentation and risk‑mitigation actions.
• Partner with design engineers to ensure manufacturability, serviceability and scalability.
• Track issues, drive corrective actions, and resolve non‑conformances during builds.
• Support product lifecycle tasks such as BOM maintenance, release execution, configuration updates and PLM workflow administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hardware NPI or product launch environments.
• Strong understanding of prototype to production transition for complex systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional groups.
