About the role

Join the Family Health Centers at NYU Langone as a Non‑Certified Teacher, supporting early childhood education within a vibrant community health setting. Working under the Education Director, you will create a safe, nurturing environment for children while collaborating with families and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and community outings.
• Supervise children, monitor health and safety, and conduct health inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation of lessons, observations, assessments, and required paperwork.
• Foster positive parent relationships and encourage parental involvement.
• Participate in regular team and staff meetings, and pursue professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to center policies, state standards (DOE, DOHMH, NAEYC, Quality Stars NY), and confidentiality guidelines.
