Night Shift Packaging Operator

About the role

Barilla is seeking night‑shift Packaging Operators for its Ames, IA plant. In this role you will help ensure that pasta products are packaged efficiently and meet the company’s high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load packaging materials onto packaging machines during the night shift.
• Perform quality checks on packaged products and adjust settings as needed.
• Make mechanical adjustments to equipment to keep production running smoothly.
• Follow a flexible 2‑2‑3 shift pattern, working every other weekend.

Required profile

• Previous experience in production or food manufacturing.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Ability to work night hours and follow a rotating schedule.
