Neurology Franchise Head

About the role

Servier is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial leader to establish and scale a high‑potential U.S. neurology franchise focused on rare neurological diseases. This senior role will define the franchise vision, build the operating model, and drive execution as part of Servier’s 2030 strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement launch strategies for neurology products, overseeing the full product lifecycle from candidate nomination through commercialization and post‑launch activities.
• Lead Medical Affairs to ensure scientific credibility, engage healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and key opinion leaders, and support evidence generation and real‑world data initiatives.
• Serve as the primary U.S. liaison to global neurology leadership and R&D teams, aligning U.S. commercial and medical strategies with global brand plans and contributing market insights.
• Motivate cross‑functional teams across marketing, sales, medical affairs, and market access, and collaborate with R&D leadership to ensure seamless transition from development to commercialization.

Required profile

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches, preferably in neurology or rare disease.
• Experience overseeing or partnering closely with Medical Affairs functions and managing budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and project‑management skills to drive complex programs from planning through execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence across cultures, time zones, and matrixed organizations.
