Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role blends deep technical expertise with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) knowledge to ensure our security controls meet policy, regulatory, and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, wireless networks, proxies, and network access control solutions.
• Manage IDS/IPS, web application firewalls, secure web gateways, DNS security, and network segmentation.
• Monitor traffic and security events, perform firewall rule reviews, and apply security hardening.
• Support remote‑access and Zero Trust initiatives and collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.
• Participate in incident response, vulnerability assessments, and penetration‑testing validation.
• Maintain security documentation, diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
• Assist with security policies, standards, risk assessments, and audit preparation aligned with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOX.

Required profile

• Proven experience securing enterprise networks and administering security technologies.
• Familiarity with GRC processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and support continuous improvement of security posture.
