About the role

The Beckville Independent School District seeks a dedicated professional to administer and support its technology infrastructure. This full‑time position ensures that LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks, servers, end‑user devices, and software operate reliably and securely for approximately 650 students.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks across the district.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot servers and related hardware.
• Provide hands‑on technical support for end‑users, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Manage network cabling, data communications, and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred certifications such as CCNA or MCITP.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
