Network and Cyber Test Data Analyst

About the role

CACI is seeking a Network and Cyber Test Data Analyst to support Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401). The analyst collects, correlates, analyzes and visualizes network, cyber and operational test data to assess the performance, interoperability, resiliency and cybersecurity posture of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) technologies. The role uses tools such as Maven Smart System, Palantir, Power BI, Python and AI-enabled analytics to turn complex data into actionable insights for senior military and civilian decision-makers. It is a regular full-time position based in Alexandria with up to 25% travel across the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate, correlate and analyze network, cyber, RF and operational test data from C-UAS technologies, sensors, command and control systems and enterprise networks.
• Analyze network traffic, packet captures, system logs, cybersecurity events, telemetry and performance metrics to identify trends, vulnerabilities and anomalies.
• Support developmental testing, operational testing, technology demonstrations and capability evaluations with analytical products measuring performance, resiliency and cybersecurity effectiveness.
• Evaluate network architectures, interoperability, latency, bandwidth utilization and cybersecurity controls.
• Develop dashboards, data visualizations, technical reports and executive briefings.
• Use AI, machine learning and automated analytics to speed log analysis, anomaly detection and threat identification.
• Analyze cybersecurity events, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing results and audit logs to recommend mitigations.
• Collaborate with test engineers, network engineers, cybersecurity engineers, software engineers, operators and acquisition personnel.
• Produce technical documentation, analytical reports, after-action reviews and executive briefings, and ensure data integrity and compliance with cybersecurity and information assurance standards.

Required profile

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Degree: BA/BS with 4+ years, AA/AS with 8+ years, or HS/GED with 10+ years.
• Experience analyzing network performance, cybersecurity events, system logs, operational test data or enterprise networks.
• Experience with MSS, Palantir or similar data integration and analytics platforms, and with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation and scripting.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, cybersecurity principles, system logging, packet analysis and performance monitoring.
• Experience with packet captures, firewall logs, endpoint telemetry, SIEM data or test instrumentation.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and proven collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
