Network Administrator

About the role

Ole Mexican Foods is seeking a Network Administrator to manage and enhance its IT network infrastructure. The role involves hands‑on administration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of network services.

Key responsibilities

• Install, debug, maintain, and upgrade Cisco, Juniper, HP, Nortel, and Extreme network equipment.
• Evaluate, test, and deploy software and hardware upgrades across the networking infrastructure.
• Configure and deploy core and peripheral devices, including Nexus switches, ASR routers, and long‑haul optical equipment.
• Monitor network devices, services, and servers proactively to ensure high availability and meet SLA commitments.
• Collect and analyze network utilization data for capacity planning.
• Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
• Interface with vendors for procurement and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Provide 24 × 7 on‑call support on a rotating basis.

Required profile

• Degree in Networking, Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3 years of network administration experience, including maintenance and upgrades.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
