Network Administrator II

About the role

CACI is hiring a Network Administrator II in Arnold, Missouri, for a full-time regular position supporting the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT networks. The role covers day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution across the network architecture and devices, with up to 10% local travel. A minimum TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Key responsibilities

• Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution, and escalate status to agency management and internal customers
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, and isolate and resolve hardware and software issues affecting applications, operating systems, hardware and communications infrastructure
• Troubleshoot, maintain and configure network components, implement OS enhancements and integrate new technologies, including migration of corporate systems and cloud migrations
• Support hardware infrastructure site surveys, planning and design, and transition planning for service migrations and user platform changes
• Guide lower-level technicians, assist senior technicians and managers, and work on integrated teams
• Provide on-site 24x7 LAN/WAN support, expanded 12x5 support during core hours and on-call support with a two-hour response time outside core hours

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator
• DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
• Ability to plan, build and install cable patch panels and fiber, and to manage IT network infrastructure and installation projects

Required skills

• Preferred: 802.11ac and 802.11ax wireless knowledge, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Juniper and Aruba wireless and management platforms
• Preferred: WLAN design and benchmarking software, and JNCIS certification
