National Project Coordinator

About the role

Cotton, a diversified holding company, is seeking a National Project Coordinator to lead commercial construction projects across the United States. The role involves building relationships with adjusters, property owners, and facility managers while overseeing project execution from scope development to invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture business relationships with adjusters, property owners, and facility managers to generate commercial work.
• Prepare scopes of work, estimates, contracts, and manage file documentation while serving as the primary point of contact.
• Coordinate with regional marketing and operations leaders to create synergies and ensure projects meet company standards.
• Communicate with project managers to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain high service quality.
• Manage change orders, invoicing, and collection processes in accordance with company protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including 5+ years in senior project management or leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing multi‑million‑dollar projects from pre‑construction through closeout.
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑control expertise.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xactimate for estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and risk‑management practices.
