National OEM Account Manager – Water Infrastructure

About the role
Hubbell is seeking a National OEM Account Manager to lead sales for strategic OEM partners in the U.S. water infrastructure market. The role focuses on water meter and AMI manufacturers, driving revenue growth and strengthening market position.
Key responsibilities
- Expand top‑level and field relationships with OEM partners to build a robust project pipeline.
- Provide guidance, motivation, data, and training to the water infrastructure sales team to meet or exceed targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, promotions, and initiatives to maximize revenue and market penetration.
- Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and generate reports for team and individual assessment.
- Maintain strong relationships with key end users, ensuring customer satisfaction and understanding of needs.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to align strategies and improve sales processes.
- Manage sales budgets, forecast projections, and control expenses to optimize profitability.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Travel nationwide (minimum 60%) to work with OEM accounts, territory managers, and attend trade shows.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 6‑10 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within water utilities or infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑service abilities.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales performance and market data.
- Self‑motivated, accountable, and capable of working independently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships across all organizational levels.
- Proven time‑management and organizational capabilities.
