National Key Account Manager

About the role

SCOUT is seeking a results‑driven National Key Account Manager to own and grow its most important retail partnerships across mass, department store and specialty channels. Reporting to the Senior Global Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the full business lifecycle—from prospecting new accounts to deepening existing relationships—while delivering top‑line growth and margin‑positive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue performance and sales forecasting for national key accounts, setting and achieving aggressive growth targets.
• Manage the full P&L for the key‑account channel, including gross margin, inventory optimization, sell‑through and account health.
• Collaborate with Planning and FP&A to align forecasts, inventory and demand planning with account‑level opportunities.
• Analyze multi‑door account performance at SKU, door, category and seasonal levels to drive assortment productivity, AUR/AOV optimization and margin improvement.
• Monitor retailer KPIs such as sell‑through, weeks of supply, turn, replenishment performance and margin targets.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize new national and regional partners that complement SCOUT’s channel mix.
• Lead the end‑to‑end business development process: prospecting, outreach, pitch creation, onboarding and long‑term account planning.
• Develop compelling retailer pitches that translate SCOUT’s brand, product architecture and merchandising plans into account‑specific growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Strategic, relationship‑focused professional with a proven track record in national account management or wholesale sales.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of influencing cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑motivated and results‑oriented, comfortable managing multiple high‑volume accounts simultaneously.
