National Accounts Casualty Intern - Business Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a National Accounts Casualty Intern on its Business Insurance team. The internship offers broad exposure to the entire casualty team broking process, from client meetings and negotiations with brokers and underwriters to strategic reviews of the casualty book and final presentations. It focuses on the tools needed for Client Management or Sales career pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients and engage in negotiations with brokers and underwriters
• Conduct strategic reviews of the casualty book
• Craft final presentations
• Apply classroom concepts through project work and client interaction
• Work with multiple teams and support actual clients

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as risk management, insurance, finance, business administration, accounting or a related discipline
• Ability to think critically, analyse complex information and review work for accuracy
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Previous professional work experience and a 3.0 GPA or higher are a plus but not required

Required skills

• Proficiency in all functions of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
