National Account Manager – Automotive Recycling

About the role

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is looking for a results‑driven National Account Manager to lead the growth of its Honeycomb division across the United States. This remote position involves extensive travel to build and manage relationships with automotive recyclers, salvage yards, and industrial accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate and secure high‑value toll‑refining contracts and purchase agreements with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of supply from auto wrecking yards, recyclers and automotive groups.
• Lead competitive bids, structure tolling agreements and negotiate pricing strategies.
• Conduct on‑site evaluations of catalytic converters, including inspection, weighing and classification.
• Strengthen supplier trust through transparent communication and regular in‑person visits.
• Represent AIM Honeycomb at trade shows, conferences and client meetings to expand market share.
• Analyze market and competitor trends to optimize pricing, margins and growth strategy.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to align supply, logistics and sales objectives.

Required profile

• Proven business‑development or sales experience in the automotive recycling or related industrial sector.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and a field‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time nationwide.
• Self‑motivated, results‑focused and comfortable working remotely.
