Murex MX.3 Production Support Analyst – Front Office (Equity Derivatives)

About the role

The role provides front‑line production support for the Murex MX.3 platform in a Front Office Equity Derivatives environment. You will ensure the stability and performance of pricing, risk, trade capture and related workflows while collaborating with traders, vendors and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor logs, dashboards, schedulers, real‑time feeds and batch processes to proactively detect and resolve issues.
• Own incident triage, impact assessment, root‑cause analysis and remediation follow‑up.
• Troubleshoot pricing inconsistencies, risk/sensitivity gaps, trade enrichment failures and interface delays.
• Manage vendor cases, gather evidence, reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Support production releases, emergency changes and maintenance with pre‑ and post‑deployment checks.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks and knowledge articles to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to monitoring, automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years supporting Front Office Trading Technology.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Murex MX.3 production support (preferred).
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work under high pressure.
• Automation mindset and focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Murex MX.3 platform (eTradepad, Pricing, Simulation, Livebook, Workflow).
• Market‑data components: MDCS, RTBS, MDRS, MDIT.
• Unix/Linux environment and log analysis.
• Scripting in Python and/or Unix shell.
• SQL knowledge (Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Understanding of Equity Derivatives products and Greeks.
