Multi‑Modality Technologist II – Radiology

About the role

The University of Miami Health System Department of Radiology seeks a full‑time Multi‑Modality Technologist II to join the team at Lennar Foundation Medical Center. The technologist will perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, ensuring high‑quality images with minimal radiation exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic imaging studies in at least two specialized modalities (e.g., X‑ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine).
• Coordinate patient scheduling and flow for inter‑departmental procedures.
• Perform and supervise imaging studies under radiologist direction.
• Assist in training new physicians and developing imaging protocols.
• Participate in research initiatives and protocol development.
• Monitor procedure charging and ensure accurate documentation.
• Demonstrate equipment for site visits and provide in‑service education.
• Verify patient identity, obtain consents, and ensure appropriate exam orders.
