About the role
Amazing Athletes provides fun and educational sports programs for children aged 18 months to 12 years, with its largest client group being children 6 years old and younger. It is looking for an energetic, child-focused afternoon youth coach to teach the fundamentals of various sports. The position is part-time, with flexibility and room for company growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and instruct sports classes for children in daycares, preschools and/or afterschool programs
- Create a positive and engaging environment for all children to learn and play
- Teach children the basic skills and rules of different sports
- Encourage participation and teamwork among the children
- Maintain order and ensure the safety of all children participating
Required profile
- Available between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays
- High school diploma or higher
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Pass a New York State background check
