Multi-Site Operations Manager – Veterinary Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Multi‑Site Operations Manager to lead and optimize the daily operations of a growing, privately owned veterinary practice with two locations in Norfolk, VA. You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, scaling the second clinic, and delivering strong financial performance while maintaining high standards of care and client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize P&L performance across both sites (~$5M).
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including scheduling, workflow, and case management.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Implement operational efficiencies to support growth and expansion.
• Activate and scale patient volume at the second clinic.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and drive process improvements.
• Partner with leadership on strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Manage staffing alignment, budgeting, and cost‑control initiatives.
• Build relationships with referring veterinary partners and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in veterinary or healthcare operations management.
• Experience leading 5+ DVM hospitals or multi‑site environments preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L and KPI management.
• Critical thinker able to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Base salary $100,000 – $130,000 (dependent on experience).
