Mulesoft Developer

About the role

We are looking for a MuleSoft Developer to design, build and support enterprise integration solutions on the Anypoint Platform. The role works closely with business stakeholders, architects and product teams to enable secure, scalable data exchange across Sallie Mae platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support MuleSoft APIs and integration flows using API‑led connectivity.
• Build and maintain integrations with Salesforce, AWS, Snowflake/Enterprise Data Warehouse and other systems.
• Participate in architecture and solution design, recommending integration patterns and technical approaches.
• Create reusable APIs, shared services and integration frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications and deployment procedures.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and release management across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in production.
• Implement security, logging, monitoring, governance and performance standards for integration services.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams on best practices.
• Take part in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering integration solutions with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Strong understanding of API‑led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, product owners, security and infrastructure teams.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills for root‑cause analysis.
