MTS Developer – ACI Money Transfer System (Remote/Atlanta)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MTS Developer to lead the development and production support of the ACI Money Transfer System. The role can be based in Atlanta, GA or performed remotely, offering the chance to work on critical payment‑processing components for a global financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance MTS applications, including migrations and upgrades.
• Configure and troubleshoot MTS components such as queues, processes, and databases.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide 24/7 production support and investigate issues to ensure system availability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement payment standards and integrations.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in mainframe and payment systems development.
• Strong understanding of payments messaging standards (SWIFT MT/MX, Fedwire, CHIPS, ISO 20022).
• Proven ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
