MRB Stress Engineer – Production Engineering

About the role

Join BETA Technologies as an MRB Stress Engineer, supporting production engineering of electric aircraft. You will work cross‑functionally to ensure structural integrity and smooth production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis on composite and metallic nonconformances identified on the production line.
• Review quality documentation and MRB Nonconformance Reports to determine defect extent and appropriate analysis approach.
• Communicate NCRs to structures stress team leads and request additional technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with MRB liaison, Manufacturing Engineering and other departments for complex deviations.
• Compile NCR Stress Reports documenting incidents, stress substantiation, assessment results and approval for acceptance or repair.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional stress analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structures, design guidelines, and failure modes for composites and metals.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional interaction.
• Self‑starter attitude with motivation to see solutions through to completion.
