Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

About the role

The Mobile Engineer will design, build, and maintain high‑performance native mobile applications on either iOS or Android. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver robust user‑facing features and ensure a seamless, responsive experience across devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship native iOS apps using Swift/Objective‑C or Android apps using Kotlin/Java.
• Architect clean, reusable codebases following patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or MVI.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and network efficiency for diverse device profiles.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections, handling local persistence and offline sync.
• Write unit tests and UI automation tests to maintain code quality.
• Participate in design sprints, code reviews, and CI/CD pipeline automation for store deployments.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional experience in native mobile development on iOS or Android.
• Deep proficiency in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android) and solid understanding of their SDKs and lifecycle events.
• Experience with local persistence frameworks such as CoreData, Realm, Room, or SQLite.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, memory management, and performance‑tuning tools (Instruments, Profiler).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
