Mobile Application Engineer – Android & iOS

About the role

As a member of Blink’s mobile development team you will help shape the Blink mobile platform and deliver a best‑in‑class experience for millions of customers. Working in a cross‑functional agile squad you will collaborate closely with product, UX and backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship mobile app features, UX flows and UI components for Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to create maintainable, high‑quality features.
• Continuously improve code quality, maintainability and app performance.
• Work alongside other developers, raising the bar for mobile development practices.
• Integrate with backend services and cloud messaging APIs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Professional software development experience with modern languages (Java, C++, C#).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing and source‑control management.

Required skills

• Kotlin, MVVM, Coroutines, Hilt, Room (Android).
• Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, Swiftlint, GRDB (iOS).
• Java, C++, C#.
• REST APIs, cloud messaging APIs, socket/web‑socket communication.
• CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, integration testing.
• Git or other source‑control systems.
