About the role
Reflect Orbital is looking for a motivated intern to join its flight software team. You will work alongside full‑time engineers on a fast‑moving satellite constellation, taking on real responsibilities that directly impact the mission.
Key responsibilities
- Own the design, development, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of novel spacecraft components.
- Build complete tools and testing setups, ensuring they are fully completed and shipped.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly to validate concepts.
Required profile
- Comfortable tackling challenges with no known solution and willing to be a hands‑on individual contributor.
- Able to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks onsite at the Hawthorne, CA office.
- Capable of working independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Demonstrates scrappy problem‑solving and can also deliver high‑quality, complex solutions when needed.
