Mobile App Engineer – Service & Roadside Assistance

About the role

Join Tesla’s Mobile App team to design and deliver intuitive iOS and Android features that enable drivers to schedule service, request roadside assistance, and view real‑time vehicle diagnostics. You will work at the intersection of mobile software, vehicle telematics, and user experience to transform how owners interact with their cars.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain service scheduling, roadside assistance, and vehicle diagnostics features for iOS and Android.
• Implement high‑performance UI/UX that allows quick request of service or emergency help.
• Integrate with backend services, third‑party APIs, and vehicle telematics to fetch real‑time health data.
• Utilize Bluetooth, GPS, push notifications, and other connectivity features for location‑based assistance.
• Write automated unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure a flawless user experience.
• Monitor app stability, investigate crashes, and resolve bugs efficiently.
• Optimize network requests, reduce battery consumption, and improve offline capabilities.
